About Kevin

I am a Personal and Business Success Coach who helps people achieve their personal best whether that be in life or in business or both. I have over 30 years of business and personal development experience that has included senior management positions in large organisations, owning my own publishing and direct marketing business, widely published as an author and overcoming various personal issues that many of us have in our lives.

My clients are from virtually all walks of life, worldwide. They have included business owners, managers, students, entrepreneurs and those purely interested in personal growth and development.

I have formal business qualifications including a Bachelor of Business and a Diploma of Corporate Management. Completing many personal development courses covering coaching skills, leadership development and team building, financial planning, problem solving, effective communication (to name but a few) have developed my skills and given me a strong knowledge and experience base from which I can help my clients improve and grow.

How I Coach Clients

Every coach has his or her own coaching style. The approach I use in my coaching is I bring to each coaching relationship a caring attitude and commitment to your success. I listen with empathy and help you to identify for yourself ways to move forward. I tell you the truth with kindness and support your growth and development.

At each coaching session, my focus is on the following:

  • Being your partner in achieving your business and personal goals
  • Being your champion and supporter when you are struggling to break through barriers
  • Being your trainer to develop your communication and life skills
  • Being your sounding board when there are choices you need to make
  • Being your motivation and reminding you of your “why” when strong actions are needed
  • Being your unconditional support when you have setbacks or take a hit
  • Being your mentor in personal growth and development
  • Being your co designer when creating an extraordinary project
  • Being your symbol of hope during turbulent times
  • Being your wake-up call if you don’t hear your own

And, most importantly, being your partner to help you have all of what matters most to you.

As part of the coaching method, you can expect that I will give you much homework. I usually ask that you come up with two or three goals, actions, or shifts to have between one session and the next. If it is too much, say so. If you want more, just ask.

Also, you are expected to use me, not depend on me. When I am your coach, I am a resource for you to use to your best advantage: I can share many principles that will increase your success and add to the quality of your life. I ask that my clients use me as this resource and the friend that I am, but not to let themselves get into the position of needing me (or coaching) as a dependency thing or a fix.

My coaching method is collaborative, with the equal involvement of both coach and client in the process. I believe that each client ultimately holds the key to their own satisfaction. I offer a choice of coaching sessions as I believe that one size does not fit all. Clients have access to self-coaching programs, training programs, group coaching, email coaching, telephone coaching, face to face coaching or a combination of these depending on the need. The structure of coaching packages is to provide you with the most value from your coaching experience.
